Som una organització sense ànim de lucre, membre del Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, i portada al 100% per voluntaris amb l’objectiu de compartir i promoure la cultura i llengua catalanes a Escòcia.

Degut a un seguit de generalitzacions aparegudes en els mitjans de comunicació a Catalunya, ens veiem obligats a recalcar que, tot i estar enregistrats oficialment com a casal català, el Centre Català d'Escòcia no té un local fixe, personal pagat ni horaris de visita.

Tot el que organitzem ho fem durant el nostre temps lliure i perquè volem compartir i promoure una cultura i un país que estimem.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, member of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and exclusively run by volunteers, with the aim of sharing and promoting the Catalan culture and language in Scotland.

Due to a series of generalisations which have recently appeared in the Catalan media, we feel obliged to point out that, although officially registered as a Catalan centre abroad, Scotland's Catalan Centre does not have a fixed meeting space, paid staff or opening times.

Everything is organised during our spare time with the only aim of sharing and promoting a culture and country we love.

GATMANEL a Glasgow

Gatmanel, el grup de rock català de l'any, toca en viu al centre de Glasgow. El local és a quatre passes de l'estació Glasgow Central i hi ha tren per tornar a Edimburg fins a mitjanit.

L'entrada val només £5 i es pot comprar en línia a la web de The Classic Grand.

Gatmanel, the Catalan rock band of the year, is playing life in central Glasgow in a venue round the corner from Central Station. If you life in Edinburgh, there's trains to get back home until midnight!
